| What is it? |
The origins of theatre are lost in pre-history. From the earliest days, it was the province of Shaman and tribal medicine men. These early performances used costumes, masks and ritual to invoke the spirit world and the archetypal Gods and Goddesses. Transformational Theatre is returning theatre to its roots, when it was used to inspire people to look deep into themselves and society, connecting with their unlimited creative power.
These shared experiences enabled both performers and audiences to transcend normal social boundaries. Often these experiences were self-confronting, awakening and Transformational- thus bringing about a more positive and harmonious world.
We will present Mystery dramas, which show archetypal and spiritual realities that exist beyond the confines of earthly space and time. A dramatised form, using Dance, Drama, and Music to embrace dimensions of reality beyond our every day consciousness and show hidden aspects of man?s spiritual nature we do not normally see portrayed.
