Christina trained as a Dancer
to professional standards for Royal Academy of Dancing (R.A.D.).
Trained as an actress and Teacher at City of London's Guildhall School
of Music and Drama (L.G.S.M & D) Trained as a singer with well
known teacher Madam Florence Norberg
From the early 1960's Christina has had a very interesting and varied
career. For 12 years she taught all forms of Dance and Drama, alongside
a professional acting career. Her experience ranges from Classical
Opera to Musical Theatre, Cabaret, Film and Television. The highlights
of her career include:
Taking over the leading role of Agnes Gooch alongside the legendary
Ginger Rogers in Mame at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Playing Fairy
Queen in the famous Player's Theatre Pantomimes...flying to Nairobi to
take the lead of 'Aldonza/Dulcinea' in the Kenya National Theatre's
production of Man of La Mancha.
She repeated this role for Serenade Arts (Barbican Theatre,
Plymouth)...tours of Stop the World, I Want to Get Off (Anthony
Newley). Beth in Dry Rot...Brian Rix Season of Farces at the Ashcroft
Theatre...Croydon appearing in Ronnie Barker's TV series 'Hark at
Barker'. Filming in Oliver and playing the Cook in the Tony Curtis film
'Where is Parsifal'. Christina describes her favourite roles in Opera
were Adele in Die Fledermaus, Magda in The Consul and the Prima Donna
in The Prima Donna's Mother is a Drag.
Christina has always been very interested in Alternative Healing,
Psychic Phenomena and all Mystic, Metaphysical and Philosophical
subjects. She became so involved, that alongside her career as an
actress, she developed a parallel career as a professional Medium and
Healer. She later became an International Seminar Leader teaching
Creative Self-development and Personal Growth.
Christinas specialist subjects are:
- Tarot - Christina is now
giving private consultations and has been doing so for 25 years, plus
teaching many students the philosophy and techniques of Tarot reading.
- Integrative Breath Therapy
(Re-birthing) - For 20 years.
- Christina started developing
as a Medium at the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain, forming
her own Psychic Home Development Group - She was a Founder Member with
Russell Grant of the British Astrological & Psychic Society
(B.A.P.S), formed to bring all related subjects together in peoples
homes all over the nation.
In conjunction with the Society and Russell Grant,
Christina worked as a medium/tarot reader on many of the Festival of
Mind, body and Spirit Exhibitions, including New York. She wrote and
presented a 45-minute piece based on Tarot using music, dance and
dialogue at the Aquarian Festival, Wandsworth and South London.
During the 80's Christina trained with U.S.A. Breath Therapists Leonard
Orr, Sondra Ray and other renowned Primal Therapists, Psychologists
e.g. Dr Eve Jones (U.S.A). She became one of the leading Teachers in
this field of Integrative Breath Therapy (Re-birthing) throughout Great
Britain. She has developed her own unique style of teaching seminars
and workshops, devising and writing all her own material.
Her Self-mastery, Goddess and Warrior trainings became well known.
Christina moved to Bristol, England and opened a Centre for Healing and
Self-awareness for 5 years with co-trainer David Austen. She was
invited to present her work in Australia by a well-known Teacher in
Sydney - Michael Adamedes - who sponsored her. Christina was so
successful she stayed for 6 years!
Whilst in Australia from 1989 to 1994 Christina wrote and performed her
One Woman Show called 'Three Faces of Eve'. This was her first attempt
to present to the public in a theatrical way, different aspects of
Healing and Transformational Philosophy. The story told of a woman's
life and problems through three phases of the Moon - Birth through
Death and Beyond! The show had a short tour in the West of England and
then in Sydney, Australia, alongside the lectures, seminars and private
psychic work.
Christina returned to England and fulfilled her dream to bring the two
sides of her career together (her two great loves). She formed the
Transformational Theatre Company, to bring about a synthesis of many
different fields of activity, from the Psychic to Mystical to Healing
and the Arts.
In 1995 Christina wrote, directed, choreographed and performed in her
second play "Soul Mates" in Bristol and Brighton, finishing at the
Turtle Key Arts Centre, Fulham and London. Christina is writing her
first book based on the Tarot Cards depicting the Journey of the Fool.
It is a Science Fantasy and a self-development book entitled "Doorways
to Power - An Extraordinary Life."
Her plans include a series of Self-empowerment / Philosophy books based
on the work she presents in trainings and courses.
In 1996, Christina played Malrika in a new play by Ronnie Grant -
Synchronicity and The Road to Nowhere at a fringe Theatre, Camden.
During September/October of the same year, Christina played La Poncia
in the classic Spanish play by Lorca, House of Bernada Alba, Theatre
Technics, Camden.
Christina appeared in two short films, 'Is it the Design on the
Wrapper' (Cannes Film Festival Winner 1997 - Best Short) and 'That Girl
is Me', as well as 'the Clairvoyant' in the recent BBC series 'Harbour
Lights' with Nick Berry, plus several cabaret / concerts. This rounds
up her most recent work as a professional actress and singer.
Christina has written many articles on Metaphysical subjects, some of
which have been published both in England and Australia e.g.
'Prediction' in England and 'Silver Cord' in Australia. She would be
most happy to send you examples of her work.
Now based in Bournemouth - Dorset (England) Christina continues with
her work in the fields of Integrative Breath Therapy plus all the other
disciplines she is so well known and respected for. She is the Founder
/ Director of The Artemis Foundation and all Doorways2Power workshops
and trainings.
